Newt's getting to an age to have an eye for the damsels. I imagine he's hungry. Deets was not so sure they would get there anyway, but he kept his doubts to himself. He didn't like the thought of being in partnership with a woman, much less a whore--although he conceded that she might have reformed.
He had never tasted anything so delicious. I believe we'd both enjoy the cool weather. Frog Lip loped over and drove the woman and the boy near the farmer; he rode so close to them that if they had fallen his horse would have stepped on them. It seemed the world was full of outspoken women.
